Some people stand in the darkness
Afraid to step into the light
Some people need to help somebody
When the edge of surrender's in sight
Don't you worry
It's gonna be alright
Cause I'm always ready
I won't let you out of my sight.
I'll be ready
I'll be ready
Never you fear
No don't you fear
I'll be ready
Forever and always
I'm always here.
In us we all have the power
But sometimes it's so hard to see
And instinct is stronger than reason
It's just human nature to me
Don't you worry
Its gonna be alright
Cause I'm always ready
I won't let you out of my sight.
I'll be ready
I'll be ready
Never you fear
No don't you fear
I'll be ready
Forever and always
I'm always here.
(Instrumental)
Cause I'm always ready
I won't let you out of my sight
I'll be ready
I'll be ready
Never you fear
No don't you fear
I'll be ready
Forever and always
I'm always here.
Forever and always
I'm always here.
So those are the lyrics to the theme song from Baywatch. I thought it was fitting to sharer them today, because we are officially on Babywatch. Not as many red bathing suits or lifeguards running around here, but I'm definitely thinking "I'll be ready." I'm done being pregnant. I know it's a miracle, and I'm experiencing something magical, but this miraculous magical 9 months has been painful. I haven't exactly loved being pregnant. I wish I could say differently, because I'm so excited to be a Mommy, but all the work my body has done to get me here has been tough.
There are still a few things that need to be done around the house before I'll really feel ready to have Jack here, but like I said I'm done with the pregnancy. I'm trying to take it as easy as I can, especially since I'm on early maternity leave because of my blood pressure. So, resting helps ease some of the discomfort, I just want to badly to be up finishing last minute things. I'm praying for calm and for the ability to be still and rest.
