I went back to the doctor a few days ago, it was a much more positive experience. My sugar was back to normal, thank goodness. My blood pressure was still a little high, but I think that was due to my experiences with the Terminix guy that morning.
We have a bug problem in our home, a big one. A few weeks ago Shane found two black widow spiders in the backyard. Scary. We've also been battling fleas. Our dogs have been bathed and treated, but they still have fleas. We've treated the yard, front and back, but we're still getting them in the house. Shane is being eaten up, I hate it, I havent been bit at all. There is nothing like a flea problem or a bug problem to make you feel like you have a dirty home.
So, in a effort to get this problem solved before Jack makes his big debut, we decided to call in the professionals. They came and sprayed about two weeks ago. The lady that came and did it was awesome, truly wonderful. She helped me get things up off the floor, explained everything she was going to do, gave me time to ask questions. She was really great! Whatever she put down was not so great, b/c we still have a bug problem. Since the first treatment, we've found three HUGE spiders in the house, not black widows, but still. Also, the fleas have not gone away. We've been following their post treatment directions and vacuuming every day, but so far it hasn't helped. So we called them back. As part of our service we have free treatments in between our quarterly visits, so they came back out to spray again and it was a completely different experience. The guy that came was two hours early, and then was mad at me because I wasn't ready. When he came back FOUR HOURS later, he was so incredibly rude to me. So I went to my appointment in tears, I tried to stay calm, but just couldn't.
So, now if my blood pressure doesn't go back down and stay down, I won't be able to start school. That's going to be really hard, especially financially. So I'm just praying that this all works out.
